Objective

Why should digital interaction be limited to humans? It shouldn’t was our thought as we approached the charity Dogs Trust with this solution that allows dog owners to connect with each other online. We believed that these owners tended to be very passionate about their 4-legged friends and wanted to share this passion and connect with other owners.

Solution

DoggySnaps is a Web 2.0 community site which allows dog lovers to share content of all shapes and sizes with each other. The site includes a number of social media elements including extremely active forums for information and advice about dog related issues.

Result

DoggySnaps has over 41,000 users and is growing every month. In addition, through the use of advertising, affiliate marketing and the printshop the site now provides an additional, much needed revenue stream to Dogs Trust. DoggySnaps was awarded the Yahoo! Social Find of the Year 2007.
